NEW YORK (Reuters) - the Board of cable from New York Cablevision Systems Corp. company approved a spin off of its cable networks, AMC Networks Inc. Unit.
The company said that, in the spin-off, the founder of Cablevision Charles Dolan suite will become Executive Chairman of CMA, which includes the CMA, WETV and the IFC among its networks. Dolan, whose family control Cablevision, will continue as Chairman of Cablevision. CMA was formerly Rainbow Media.
Cablevision said above current leader of Rainbow, Josh Sapan lead AMC CEO and President.
