NCR continues to trust Blockbuster movie rental kiosks (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) - NCR Corp., last week filed a lawsuit against a trust created by Blockbuster Inc., which seeks to continue the name of this company for its license movie rental kiosks.

Society of television satellite Dish Network Corp. last month bought Blockbuster, which sought Chapter 11 protection last year, the bankruptcy court in $ 320 million.

The trust, a Delaware entity, put in place to hold its intellectual property rights and is not part of the bankruptcy, said NCR last week that he wanted to put an end to their license agreement, according to the trial brought by NCR Friday last in the U.S. District Court in Wilmington.

NCR said in his suit that to terminate the agreement, which gave him permission to use the Blockbuster Express of March 2009 licence mark 2016, "would be irreparable harm NCR." The prosecution also asked a judge to declare that the trust has no basis to terminate the contract.

A spokesman for dish does not immediately return a request for comments.

Blockbuster has transferred its interest in the trust flat in the sale, according to court documents.

The case is NCR Corp. v. BB 2009 Trust, 11-cv-481, U.S. District Court of Delaware, Wilmington.
